My family loves delicious meals and we love to sit down at the end of a busy day and enjoy a home cooked dinner together. It’s one of the most important traditions that we always do every day, no matter what. It’s a wonderful way of reconnecting with your spouse and kids and sharing the day’s events. Some days I wonder how I will ever have time to get dinner on the table, with my work schedule, homeschooling, and the many household duties that seem endless at times. Thanks to Ragu Homestyle Pasta sauces, I am able to pull together something yummy anytime that my whole family will love!
Ragu Homestyle Pasta Sauces come in several varieties that your family will love:
- Homestyle Thick and Hearty Traditional Sauce
- Homestyle Thick and Hearty Meat Sauce
- Homestyle Thick and Hearty Four Cheese Sauce
- Homestyle Thick and Hearty Roasted Garlic Sauce
- Homestyle Thick and Hearty Mushroom Sauce
Why do I love Ragu sauces? They have the thickest sauce ever…..the sauce really HUGS that pasta! No watery stuff here! Ragu peels, chops, and simmers ingredients and use a special blend of herbs (basil, fennel, oregano and black pepper) to layer and build the flavor. They don’t use artificial flavors, artificial colors or high fructose corn syrup in their sauces and they never take shortcuts.
My family has two favorite meals….pizza and PASTA! So why not combine their two favorites into one amazing dish? Today I want to share my recipe for Supreme Pizza Lasagna. This meal is so versatile. You can really add in your own favorite pizza toppings to make it just the way you want it. Adding in your favorite Ragu Homestyle Pasta Sauce makes it perfect!
12 uncooked lasagna noodles
1 23oz jar Ragu Homestyle Pasta Sauce
1 medium onion diced
1 green pepper diced
1 cup mushrooms sliced
6 oz pepperoni slices
3 cups shredded cheese of your choice
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Cook lasagna noodles per instructions and drain. Combine onion, green pepper, and mushrooms in large skillet with a small amount of oil and cook over medium heat until soft.
Next up….time to add your favorite Ragu Homestyle Sauce to the cooked vegetables. Stir and heat through on low.
Prepare a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray. Place four of the cooked lasagna noodles in the bottom of the dish. Add 1/3 of the sauce mixture and top with 1/3 of the pepperoni slices and 1/3 of the cheese. Repeat layers twice.
Ready for the oven! Bake at 375 degrees for about 30 minutes or until sauce is bubbly and cheese is melted. Serve with a salad and/or garlic bread.
