I love to cook delicious homestyle meals for my family. Sitting down together in the evening to talk about our day and enjoying a savory dinner together is one of the many ways that we connect as a family. It’s also how I was raised as a child. This is one tradition that I want to pass down to my own children in the hopes that they will always love our family’s homestyle cooking.
Today I want to share a yummy recipe that is both easy to prepare, even on a busy weeknight, yet tastes like you’ve been working on it all day. My cheesy supreme stuffed pasta shells is a perfect example of I prepare a delicious homestyle recipe with the help of Ragu.
You’ll need ground beef, jumbo pasta shells, two eggs, ricotta cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, your choice of new Ragu Homestyle Pasta Sauce, parsley, salt and pepper.

Each sauce is thick, rich and full of ingredients that have been peeled, chopped and simmered with a special blend of herbs. Now let’s get cooking, shall we?
What You’ll Need:
1 12 oz. package jumbo pasta shells
1 lb. ground beef
1 23 oz. jar Ragu Homestyle Pasta Sauce
2 tablespoons minced onion
2 eggs, beaten
1 15 oz. container part skim ricotta cheese
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
1 tablespoon dried parsley
salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bring a large pot of water to boil and add pasta shells, cooking for about 10 minutes or until al dente. Drain.
- Brown ground beef in large skillet along with minced onion. Cook until no longer pink and add jar of Ragu Homestyle Pasta Sauce. Stir to combine and simmer on low heat while preparing the cheese filling.
In a large bowl, mix eggs, ricotta, one cup mozzarella, parsley, and salt and pepper until well combined.
Stuff cooked shells with ricotta mixture and place in a prepared 9×13 inch baking dish.
Spoon meat sauce mixture over the top of stuffed pasta shells and sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup shredded cheese on top. Ready for the oven!
Bake in preheated oven about 35-40 minutes or until sauce is bubbly and cheese is melted. Enjoy!
