This is a fun and easy recipe that makes the tastiest little rolls. It’s kid friendly too and easy to change up and add your own choice of seasonings to suit your family’s tastes.
Servings: about 8-10 rolls
What you need:
1 tube refrigerated crescent roll dough
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon margarine or butter
heart shaped cookies cutter, about 2 inches wide
1. Preheat oven to 375 F. Unroll crescent roll dough and divide triangles along perforations. Roll or press each triangle flat.
2. Spread butter or margarine onto each triangle and then sprinkle with both the garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
3. Using the cookies cutter, cut out heart shapes in each piece of dough, and arrange on a prepared cookie sheet. I had some dough left over after cutting one heart shape from each triangle so I rolled the extra dough out and cut a few more from it, although these rolls came out more puffy. They were still just as good. 🙂
4. Bake for about 11 minutes or until light golden brown. Watch them disappear! 🙂
