Now here’s something fun and easy to do with your kiddos to celebrate the beginnings of fall! Make a tissue paper wreath for them to hang on the door or even somewhere inside the house! This craft is fun for kids of all ages, although smaller kids might need a little help with cutting things out.
You will need:
Paper or styrofoam plates
tissue paper in various colors or construction paper will work too
crepe paper streamer for a bow
1. Start by cutting the middle part out of a styrofoam or paper plate.
2. Cut simple leaf shapes out of the tissue paper or construction paper if that is what you’re using.
3. Glue the leaf shapes in whatever pattern you fancy on the plate. Mine is a very random pattern!
4. When you have added as many leaves as you would like, allow to dry completely. If desired, you can also make a little bow for the front out of crepe paper streamers or other material. Glue the bow to the front of the wreath and allow to dry.
