This recipe is another crock pot favorite of mine and results in amazing BBQ chicken that is absolutely full of flavor! Try this BBQ chicken sandwich southern style topped with tasty coleslaw! Warning: You might want to double this recipe…these go fast!
You will need:
6 frozen, boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 12 ounce bottle of Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce or your favorite sauce
1/2 cup Italian salad dressing
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon Liquid Smoke
2 tablespoons minced onion
1 32 ounce carton chicken broth
1 tablespoon garlic salt
1. Add chicken breasts, minced onion, garlic salt and chicken broth to crock pot and cook on High for 4 hours.
2. Once chicken is cooked, drain all excess liquid from crock pot completely and shred chicken. Return to crock pot. Add remaining ingredients and stir to combine. Set crock pot to Keep Warm or Low setting for about an hour to allow flavors to blend together.
3. Serve on onion buns (or your fav) with a side of coleslaw. Mmmm!
