If you want homemade pizza and fast, this is the recipe for you! Making homemade crust has never been easier. This recipe will make 2 large thin crust pizzas, but you can easily halve the ingredients to make just one pizza.
You will need:
2 (1/4 ounce size) packages active dry yeast
2 cups warm water
2 teaspoons sugar
2 teaspoons salt
4 tablespoons olive oil
3 cups whole wheat flour
2 cups unbleached all purpose flour
In a large mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Gently stir in sugar and salt.
Add flour and then olive oil and mix thoroughly. Using hands, knead dough in mixing bowl until smooth, about 5 minutes. Allow dough to rest for 10 minutes.
Divide dough in half and press into pizza pans. Add your choice of toppings and bake at 375° F for 20 minutes or until done.
