Most of you know that I homeschool my children and have been doing so for the last 7 years. I really love being able to teach my children at home, but finding a good curriculum (or not!) that works for your family can be tough and also quite expensive. I will do my best to list some good free or very inexpensive online curriculum resources here on my blog to help other parents as much as I can.
This week I found another great curriculum resource, completely free to use called An Old Fashioned Education. This site is packed full of online resources for grades K-12 based on the use of free older texts. You can search on the left hand side for a particular subject such as American History or Science, and this will take you to a list of links on the subject.
There is also a curriculum listed from K-12 with a 40 week schedule listed up through 11th grade, for those looking for something ready to use. The only thing you would need for this is a separate Math and Science curriculum but these can also be found online for free or very cheap.
For more information about this curriculum and how to use it for your family, please visit About This Curriculum.
From what I have seen, it looks like a very well rounded resource for anyone looking to save money on homeschool curriculum.
