Homeschooling On A Budget

simplyhomepost

For those who don’t know me very well yet, this is my 7th year of homeschooling my children. It has been a wonderful and exciting adventure so far and I hope to be able to continue to homeschool as long as possible. There have been many days that didn’t go smoothly but the rewards far outweigh the crazy times!

What I wanted to blog about today is homeschooling on a budget, for those who want to go the route of using a full curriculum to teach your children. There are so many curriculum choices out there and finding the right one for your family can be exhausting. Some curriculum options can be pretty expensive but there are some very inexpensive and even free options available as well.

One full curriculum option that is completely free that I recently found is called Easy Peasy Homeschool. We are seriously considering using this curriculum this fall for our children. This curriculum covers the core subjects and all you need is a working internet connection, computer, and paper for printing items if needed. The grade levels go from K all the way to eighth grade, and hopefully high school courses will be listed there as well.

If you are searching for a great curriculum, hop on over to Easy Peasy Homeschool and see what is offered. I’m sure you’ll be happy with what you find!

Oh yay, you’re a homeschooler! We have another year before we have to officially decide to homeschool or send to public schools, but I’m already on the lookout for resources and someone to ask questions!

I applaud you for wanting to homeschool your children. It takes so much focus, commitment and discipline. But as you already know, the results and well worth it.
